Hashrate Cloud Miner — Privacy Policy

This privacy policy describes how Hashrate Cloud Miner ("we", "our", "the app") collects, uses, and protects information about its users. This app is non-custodial — we never hold your private keys, seed phrase, or on-chain assets.

1. Data we collect

• Account information: email address and a password hash (we never store passwords in plain text).
• Activity data: daily check-in records, rewarded ad view records, in-app purchase receipts (verified with Apple's App Store Server API), and indicative-earnings ledger entries.
• Lightning addresses you choose to share at redeem time. We store them only to fulfill that specific payout request.
• Aggregated ad metrics via Google AdMob (per AdMob's privacy policy). The app does not request the IDFA via ATT and does not track users across apps.

2. Data we do NOT collect

• We do not collect, store, or have access to your Lightning wallet's private keys or seed phrase.
• We do not custody any on-chain Bitcoin or cryptocurrency on your behalf.
• We do not access your contacts, microphone, camera, photos, or location.

3. How we use data

• To authenticate you and operate the app's features.
• To compute indicative-earnings ledgers and process Lightning redemptions you initiate.
• To verify in-app purchases with Apple's App Store Server API.
• To serve ads via Google AdMob (rewarded video + occasional interstitial).
• To respond to your support requests.

4. Third-party services

• Apple App Store Server API — IAP receipt verification.
• Google AdMob — ad delivery.
• Blink (lightning payouts) — Lightning Network routing for user-initiated redeems.
• OpenAI / Emergent LLM — powers the in-app support chat assistant (user messages are passed to the model only for the purpose of generating a reply).

5. Retention

We retain account data while your account is active. Upon account-deletion request (see "Your rights" below), we delete the account and associated records within 14 days, except where we are required by law to retain them.

6. Your rights

You may request a copy of your data, correction of inaccurate data, or full deletion of your account by emailing support@hashratecloudminer.com from the address you registered with.

7. Children

Hashrate Cloud Miner is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Security

We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, hashed passwords, signed JWT tokens for session management, and Server-Side Verification for AdMob rewards. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the app or by email.
